Not as nice as the older ones I have. The foot part is very wide with no detailing on it.

I sent them back. I wore them once, for one day and all the shearling rubbed off right where the ball of my foot is. Not just a little either, completely off and left a bald spot.

Bought these for my wife as an x-mas gift. fit was a bit tight in the shaft but stretched out after a few days. After 16 days they tore along the seam on the top of the boot...we put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear they were worn very little not enough to tear so easy. the quality seemed well enough they seemed sturdy up to that point, also I might point out that it was an odd place for them to tear considering you pull them on it seems as though they would have ripped from the back. Amazon was wonderful as always made the return easy and issued a refund as soon as they received the item.

I just received my Chocolate Bearpaws. After reading some reviews, I was a little nervous about the size. I take a size 8 but in some cuts of shoe or boot I can take an 8.5. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly! My feet were in heaven as soon as I put them on. I truly cannot tell the difference between these and the Uggs. Someone commented that there was no sheepskin fur on the insole where your foot rests. There sure is and it feels great. If I had gone a size up, which for me would have been a 9, it definitely would have been way too big. These fit the same as the Uggs, at least for me. Color was true to pic. I can't see spending a whole lot of extra money when these are just as good. Also, someone said that the other brands are made in Australia and Bearpaws is made in China. You better take a look again. They are ALL made in China. None of them are made in Australia! Some said that the outer skin of the others is sheepskin while Bearpaw if Cow leather. Well, yes, Bearpaw exterior is "Suede", not sheepskin. But "Suede" is more durable, in my opinion. Both are delicate materials. However, again read labels carefully on other known brands. They all say "Leather upper"....."sheepskin lining". None of them say "sheepskin upper" so I don't know. I have a feeling they are all the same. Bearpaw does make a fake suede and fake fur at a much lesser price. These (Emma short) is the real deal. I can't wait to sink my feet in these when the weather gets colder. My friend's "Bearpaws" held up better for her than her more expensive brand. For the money, this can't be beat. And remember, for all suede and sheepskin, you need to waterproof and stainproof them before using them in rain and snow. None of these brands claim to be waterproof or stainproof. They are suede in nature, after all. So you need to be careful. I will update again once I've gotten through the winter with them to let you all know how they held up. I will not be wearing them every day at the exclusion of all other shoes and boots so I plan to enjoy these for many years to come! Stitching and seaming seem to be the same as other brands as well. Can't go wrong for the money! Came quickly. Packaging was great. Got mine directly through Amazon, not third party merchant. Sometimes that can make a difference. When dealing directly with Amazon, I have never had a problem.

I'm a recent convert to this style of shoe, but I work in a really casual office that's FREEZING and needed something comfortable and warm - these are so perfect, they're my new favorite winter boot. Suede is great quality, as is the Sherpa lining.

Sizing Note: I've read many reviews that stated they got the shoe way too big, and others recommending that you go to Bearpaw's website to figure out the correct size - both of those points are incorrect. Bearpaw recommends sizing 1-2 sizes UP because of the thick lining of the shoe - I believe that's why people are mistakenly ordering the wrong size.

I went with another reviewer who suggested to order a size down because the lining will pack in around your foot and you'll end up with more room - so thankful for that suggestion - I'm a 6.5, ordered a 6 - the first few days of wear, yes the shoes were tight - but sure enough the lining has packed inside and they now fit perfectly - there's actually enough room for me to put an insert in these so I have more arch support.

I have been looking for a boot I could wear daily- with leggings, pencil skirts, jeans, or anything- to replace my suede furry winter boots- and these amazing boots have changed my life! As a teacher, I need to be able to make it through the day on my feet- so comfort is important! What I did not expect was that they would be almost as comfy as a pair of slippers, but with that modern appeal and fresh spring look I wanted. I loved them so much I immediately ordered them in black as well. I have bunions on both feet, which can be quite painful with the wrong fit- and the C/D width is just perfect for me. I usually have to size up to accommodate the bunions, which causes all kinds of odd fitting heel slip. etc. With these, I stayed with my real size and just hoped they would be wide enough- and YAY for me!!! I want to wear them everywhere I go.

I bought these to deer hunt in and the occasional snow boot. I live in Indiana. I was hunting (stitting still) in 25 degree weather with 15mph winds and my toes started getting quite cold at the 2 hour mark and I had to add an adhesive foot warmer on the bottom of my socks. If you're Walking or stalk hunting, these boots will keep your feet warm. I could be wrong, but I doubt these are rated to -40 degrees unless you're continuallly walking around to keep circulation flowing and wearing merino wool socks and polypropylene sock liners on your feet.

I really do like that the liner is thick and is removable, over the calf, and for a rubber boot has a a medium aggressive tread. I also liked that the boot shaft up around the calf had generous spacing for large calved people and I could still stuff my pants & thermals inside the boot. I hunt in some rolling hill terrain and my foot did not slide around to where I could not keep good traction in the steeper areas.

I have not gotten a chance to test the waterproofing, yet. when I do, I'll try to remember to come back and give feedback.

Overall, great, affordable, insulated boot. I'd buy these again for my weather and needs. Another hunting buddy of mine, bought this same boot, same size 10 in Kahke Green and he says "ditto" on my comments.
